Our Location
Located just two miles south of historic Shelburne Village, The Preserve is surrounded by conserved farmland protecting Chittenden County's most dramatic views. The unsurpassed vistas include Camel's Hump to the east and the High Peaks of the Adirondacks to the west. Most spectacularly, each home will embrace commanding views of Lake Champlain for 25 miles to the north and south. With only nine home sites on 80 acres, this is a very special offering.

Preservation
The Preserve at Perry Farm represents the vision of Vermont entrepreneur Tony Perry and is a result of decades of planning and work. The property that now encompasses The Preserve began as a farmstead in the early 1800s and was purchased by Mr. Perry in the 1980s.

While building his own home on a section of this homestead, he maintained and improved the original farm, eventually turning it into a working organic farm with a sizable bison herd. This stewardship in turn created several large parcels of adjoining land that have been put into a trust with The Vermont Land Trust and The Charlotte Land Trust. This conserved land will be protected from further development for the benefit of future generations. Following Mr. Perry's vision, The Preserve will maintain this important relationship between the homes and the land around them. Maintaining an aesthetic relationship between neighbors, the land, and its natural inhabitants is critical to preserving and protecting The Preserve's unique, expansive character.
